Richard G Cline, M.D. was born in Columbus, Ohio. He received a Bachelors of Science, Cum Laude in June 1973 from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Cline remained at Ohio State University to receive his Medical Degree. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Ohio State University Hospital. Dr. Cline served as Assistant Professor in Preventative Medicine at OSU Hospital from July 1979 to June 1981, entering his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at that time.
Dr. Cline is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Cline is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association.
Dr. Cline is active in the community supporting many athletic programs including Maryville Little League and area high school sports.
In his private practice, Dr. Cline has participated in many research projects conducted by the industry's top drug companies.
Dr. Cline and his family reside in Lenoir City, Tenn. Dr. Cline is married to Dr. Kim Cline, and they have four children. In his leisure time, Dr. Cline enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
